The lake is 7 hectares wide. 8 fishing stations are ready to welcome you.

The depths vary from 1 to 5 meters maximum.

The lake surroundings are reachable by car or by feet. You are on a private and protected spot, respect of nature is essential. Open all year long, the lake offers different aspects according to the seasons.

As the lake is opened all year long, we all the time feed the fishes. As a consequence, they remain active, even when temperatures are low. Moreover, these gravel pits have well known springs which stabilize water temperature even I case of rigorous winter. These springs make a diverse and plentiful biotope and allow an important activity of the fish. This creates an homogenous distribution on the lake.

The first time I went to Fleury, I got information from the mayor about nature and lake diversity. His son was a carpist and caught very beautiful fishes (more than 18kgs) ; this was in relation with the information I got from other fishermen. I decided to try ‘by myself’ and asked permission to fish for 2 days. It was in January and temperatures were low. I did a 5 days baiting , more or less 2 kgs, at the deepest place. I caught, during these 2 nights, 4 wonderful fishes from 10 to 15 kgs, colourful with nice scales which showed me that they were well fed. This has reinforced my will to transform this place into a carp fishing area.
